Meet Our Staff!

Albert E. Ambrose, Jr.
Albert is a third generation Ambrose family member to serve as President of E.T. Lowe Publishing Company, which was acquired by his grandfather in 1929. Shortly after joining the company, Albert helped create our print division, Lowe Graphics, Inc. which specializes in business forms printing, direct mail solicitation pieces, and newsletters. Albert wears many hats for both companies, including sales, financial management, and production management.

Albert is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He currently serves on the boards of The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald Tennessee, and the H G Hill Company, Nashville and is a former Vestry Member of St. George's Episcopal Church.

When not wearing one of his many hats for the companies, Albert enjoys boating, golf, travel, and time spent with family.

Mae Ambrose
Mae is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in fine arts. She has been with E.T. Lowe/Lowe Graphics since 1988. In 1995 she began working for Lowe Graphics and Printing in print sales. Using her customer service skills, she quickly grew sales and brought the recently-formed Lowe Graphics to a new level.

Mae keeps her customers happy by following each job until it is delivered. She enjoys meeting prospective clients and finding the best source and price for their printed products. Her outside interests are many and include painting, photography and genealogy.

Charles Sutherland
Charles is Vice-president of E.T. Lowe and has been with the company for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge of type and typography, having seen it evolve from hot metal to today’s digital formats.

Charles is a graduate of the Southern School of Printing. He has attended many classes on management and typography, reaching expert level in InDesign. He is also experienced in Photoshop and Illustrator. Working with major publishers across the country, Charles has gained invaluable design experience. He has been instrumental in assisting numerous self-pub authors to bring their dreams of writing a book to print.

He loves baseball and basketball and coached his sons’ little league teams. His oldest son went on to play college baseball and his younger son is now attending college. Email Charles at charles@etlowe.com.

Keata Brewer
Keata has been with E.T. Lowe for 18 years and has a certificate in Desktop Publishing from Nashville State Community College in addition to a B.A. in Speech Communications from Western Kentucky University. She loves working on scholarly texts and is always up for a challenge. Keata has produced thousands of titles during her tenure at E.T. Lowe. She is a master of layout in InDesign and is our go to person for XML based projects.
